Dense fog like this doesn't ever happen in Kansas City, I honestly can't recall a day where it had been so foggy. Although the fog seemed to disappear sooner than I had hoped, it was such a change from the norm here. I have always longed for foggy, gloomy weather I see in other people's pictures in the North West or San Francisco. I came up with so many short films I wanted to make with the fog being the perfect backdrop, witchy photoshoots of models in long Victorian dresses... well, looks like I will have to store those ideas for whenever this fog decides to return one day.
My last week of my winter break has been very full. I have seemed to find myself quite a bit at Union Station, where they have the most magical arrangement of lights for the holidays and the most beautiful ceilings. I recently shot a video in the "ballroom area" (just the main room, but I see it more of that), for an upcoming charity event that my friend and I will be hosting. I also recently did a photo shoot there, and met fellow Instagram-ers from across the states at non-planned meet-up. Yes, Union Station has been my go-to lately. I have also been drinking lots of black coffee from Oddly Correct, cuddling with my cats while I should be doing other things, and enjoying these winter days.
