since i have started my new job as a nanny, i get to spend sundays exploring and adventuring with my boyfriend. our original plan of the day was a little delayed due to family things, but we still had plenty of time for outings. we went to the country club plaza (an upper scale shopping/dining area in kansas city) and did some christmas shopping for people on our gift lists. we planned on seeing a movie before we took our trip back home, but none of the movies playing sounded interesting to us. so, we took a quick trip to blockbuster and picked out a horror flick (the only movies my boyfriend approves of almost!), to have a night in.
i bought this dress at savers (a thrift store) and i am in love with it. i love the little "scene" of the winter with the native americans and their village. i believe this is one of the best finds from thrifting i have found in quite sometime. readers, what have your best finds from thrift stores been recently?
I found an amazing yellow Peter pan collar vintage top! I love your dress and photos :)
ReplyDeleteI found a white faux white fur-type vest on Sat. I've already washed it and I'll be wearing it on the blog this week! I love your dress--very pretty scene! Nice find! Thanks for the nice comment on my blog. Would you like to follow each other?

ReplyDeleteGreat photos, I especially love the jumping ones. Thank you for your comment on my blog.
ReplyDeleteMy best recent finds would have to be a long blue silk dress (which I dyed green) and a Yves Saint Laurent silk and rayon dress.
What a cute outfit! :)

interesting pictures!
ReplyDeleteAh I wish I could walk around in a dress like that, unfortunately it is cold and snowy (the wet kind that doesn't stick) here.. so I am afraid I need to wait for summer again..
