this time of the year

(back side of the mug.)

i am almost officially on winter break from school, besides i final presentation of a portfolio this week, so the openness of my schedule is starting to hit me. i started packing a little this evening (most of the wall decor and a few kitchen items we do not use often) and making a few new things for when we move.
i watched two christmas movies today on cable, while making a few diy projects. i believe the only time i have watched television this long in a row was today! four christmases and a christmas story was on during this. i just can't seem to turn down a christmas movie this time of the year. readers, what are your favorite hoilday films?

  1. A few things :) I love your sweater, and please show that banner when you are done! We are moving across the country and taking nothing so I feel like I need some DIY's to make our home less.....sad? And my fav holiday film has got to be A Christmas Story :) Just can't beat a classic like that

  2. Those earrings are awesome! Glad to have found your blog <3

  3. Home Alone is my favorite holiday movie! I love your sweater, by the way. And that mug is my kind of mug....i always have cold hands and i love tea! Usually they make mugs more geared towards coffee-drinkers and never for the tea-drinkers!

  4. Your mugs are so cute, nice job with them ^_^ And how cozy and lovely is that cardi, love it!

i love those old clay-mation films "the year without a santa claus", "rudolph the red-nosed reindeer", etc. :)
