visitors from afar

(dress: re-run's vintage, blouse: thirfted, belt: a friend's closet, tights: target, pilgrim shoes: thirfted)

Oh, what a wonderful Saturday this one was! As I mentioned my penpal in this post.. she is in the states for the next few months and brought her boyfriend back with her. It was his first time ever in the United States. With that being said, I had to show him a taste of Kansas City.
Our first stop was the West Bottoms, in which we went to a few vintage stores and got some coffee at a local shop. I decided to take him to the Liberty Memorial to show him a wonderful view of the city. Sarah, my penpal, had missed Trader Joes and the prepackaged items you could buy there (they make everything from scratch!), so we bought some food to make a light dinner at my house.

I couldn't be more excited to have her, and her boyfriend, here to spend time with. Thankful that I have a few more months to spend with them!

  1. Why, that mint dress is a dream! I really love how you added a collared blouse underneath too. And sounds like a lovely day spent with friends! How fun you got to show off your city-it always fills one with a little bit of pride to do that sort of thing! Also, working on the questions you sent me-can't wait!

For my boyfriend it will also be the first time ever in the States. For me it is the third time but still it is like the first time, because I've never been to Ohio before :)
