(tights: h&m, tote: fieldguided, everything else is vintage or thrifted)
As I've said before here, I believe I am one of the only people who thoroughly enjoy the bitterness of this season. I pulled out one of my favorite heavy coats for this 20 degree day, which has the most memories behind it, and started off this Monday with warm coffee and sorting through my re-organizing of my apartment. My uncle, who is an avid skull/taxidermy collector, is having me store his collection while he moves to a different state for awhile. My project until school starts again will be to display these around my apartment, which means a lot of rearranging.
My boyfriend, who is a lover of pawn shops, showed me Mission Pawn this afternoon. While he browsed acoustic guitars, I swooned over long fur coats and Dior rings. Later in the evening, I walked through the holiday-lit Country Club Plaza and had a wonderful dinner at Houston's. I am currently ending my night with red velvet cheesecake, wine at a friend's house while my router is broken, and awaiting the last final day of 2013.
I am jealous that you can wear a heavy coat right now.. it's barely cool enough for a sweater where I live haha. Love the pictures of the plaza. Looks so pretty with all of the lights. Sounds like a fun day.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you show us the pictures, some at night and some at day :) I just love the tights :)
ReplyDeleteI'm dying -- those coats! Your vest! Stunning. Great photos!

20 degree day, oh my! How jealous am I! The rest of your day sounds very pleasant as well. Can't get better than cheesecake and wine!
ReplyDeleteIt's been around the same temperature where I live as well. 20 degrees can be quite cozy... it's just warm enough to enjoy how cold it is, haha.
ReplyDeleteI had fun looking at the pictures of your day. Long coats at thrift shops are one of my weak spots.
Thanks for coming across my blog, it is so nice to find another thrift and vintage loving girl and her blog:) A new follower for sure.
ReplyDeletelove your photos! I don't mind the colder weather but oddly, it has not been THAT bad here (although for a couple of weeks we were COLD COLD COLD) haha.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year!
