mean eyed cat

   there is such a bittersweet feeling when you go to a place you used to always go to. today after my internship and before another class, i grabbed a pumpkin spice latte at whistle stop from a friend who is a barista there, a coffee shop in downtown lee's summit, that used to be my go-to spot when i was in high school. this is such a wonderful local coffee shop in the cute, little downtown area. many residents in lee's summit have still never been/heard of this place, but everyone in this town should switch from their daily starbucks drink and head here! the back patio is a perfect place to catch up with a friend or do some reading. 
   since i have got my new camera, i've been trying to photograph my cats. it is a lot harder than it sounds! they are so curious about the camera and are always running to it (or away!), so it makes it hard to capture the moment! i finally got a few good shots today when i got home from class (i was taking a break from homework...not that i should have). it is also only tuesday, but i am trying to make it through the week by thinking of fall things i can do this weekend. i'm hoping for a trip to the pumpkin patch one morning and i am really wanting to go to a haunted house. the only problem is they are extremely expensive, so i will probably stick to cheaper fall activities.
