air of december

   happy first of december readers! let the count down to the holidays and the end of the 2012 year begin. i'm so excited to be finishing up my christmas shopping and gathering ideas for making my first christmas card to send to my friends and family. i started december out with exploring a few vintage stores in the west bottoms. it turns out, that all of the stores are open next weekend and i mixed up the dates. but, a select few of the shops were still open today for viewing. with plans being turned around, i had lunch with my mother and we went to a few other stores for some christmas shopping. 
   for once, on a sunday, my boyfriend and i both have off work. tomorrow, i am hoping to adventure around our hometown. it is always fun to pretend that you are "tourists" and explore places again. we have plans to go to the nelson atkins museum of art, buy some produce at the farmer's market, and possibly see a movie at a local theater. it is always nice to have an eventful weekend before a long, stressful week of wrapping up with my classes and studying for upcoming finals.
