(this skirt i am wearing here is a diy from this blog. the diy is extremely simple, yet overly cute. i plan to sew up another one soon, this time using velvet fabric that i found in my storage.)
this evening was a pretty chilly one in the crossroads, but i warmed up with a soy latte from a local coffee shop/snack bar to help continue the night. there were not as many art galleries open as usual, probably due to the cold, but my favorite printing/design press shop was open (hammerpress). the store smelled like "christmas in a log cabin" if i was to describe it.
Wonderful photos... *.* I love them!

ReplyDeleteWell I clicked on your blog link from Chloe Moon because I love your blog title. (I'm a rabbit nut). And now I'm excited to see we're from the same city! How cool. I rarely run into KC bloggers. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit. It's so cute and unique. That skirt is adorable.
And I love FF! I skipped last night because I was sick. Blurg. But I usually go every month. And I usually visit hammerpress (but don't buy anything b/c I am SO poor, hahaha!).
I've only met two and I've been blogging for almost four years. Most people don't put their city in their profile anyway, so maybe you have come across some and didn't even know it...?
ReplyDeleteThat being said, us KC girls should stick together! :) You now have a fellow thrifter and literature lover following you. xo
sounds like a really interesting event! I love the old photographs that were displayed in one of the stores. also, congratulations on the diy skirt: it looks lovely!
