Wildflowers are kind of my favorite flowers ever. They are those little details that make even the cold-weather loving souls become in love with summer. I went to a garden area and trail close to my apartment after class and other earns this afternoon, and I can't believe I haven't been all summer. The wood-chip trails were perfectly lined with the tallest and prettiest assortment of wildflowers, the views were so beautiful. Needless to say, I walked out with many bug bites, but even the little annoying ones on my feet were worth it.
I keep seeing pumpkin ale and pumpkin lattes pop up everywhere around the city, but I am forcing myself to wait until September before acting on fall things. I mean, it's still summer for awhile right? Even though I love the autumn flavors, I'm going to stick with my berries and topical items for now... but that doesn't mean I can't dress in brown fall tones.
I'm trying to enjoy the last of the summer, too! but I do admit I feel fall creeping up very close.

As always, I love your outfit! I definitely have to try those infused sugars. The cinnamon one sounds perfect for fall. I am one of those people who can't WAIT for summer to be over. I hate summer, so much! I love flowers of course but I just really can't stand this heat!

I love the color combination of your outfit - such deep and rich hues are perfect for fall!
ReplyDeleteI feel like stores really push next season's flavors too early sometimes, especially Christmas, but fall is no exception either. I they would take a step back and let us enjoy the rest of summer haha.

This looks like such a lovely day. Your tea with cinnamon infused sugar is just making me long for fall! I also try to hold off on fall stuff with September, but I get so tempted as soon as there's a cool evening!

Your bright yellow shirt looks like a perfect transition from summer to fall. And just thinking about fall makes me almost smell those cool mornings when the light is a little gentler - until it rains and then it's just wet and gray. But for now it's still hot here!
ReplyDeleteGotta enjoy the summer while it lasts.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind comment on my blog
ReplyDeleteYou look fantastic I love your top- I'm so jealous you have pumpkin flavours all around you! I need pumpkin

You look so cute in these fall colors and I love how your shirt slightly matches the flowers: ) I totally bought some pumpkin beer the other day but I am not allowing myself to drink it for at least a few weeks when Fall is nearer.
ReplyDeleteSo strange that pumpkin things are already for sale. But this is an outfit that I think translates well as both a summer outfit and one to be worn in the fall too.
ReplyDeletePretty pictures! Wildflowers are so, so beautiful - totally my favorite. There are so many fall vibes around lately, and I kind of can't believe it!
