(dress: self-dyed (thrifted), tights: target, everything else is either vintage or thrifted)
Kansas City was a bit rainy, a bit cloudy, and a bit full of unexpected happenings today. I originally had thoughts of going to an apple orchard today to pick apples, drink apple cider, and go on a hayride. The morning ended up being full of rain-clouds and storms, so my boyfriend and I went on a bargain hunt at Cargo Largo and walked around the Chicago Alton Depot station. Naturally the rain stopped as we got to Independence, but I was fine with a little change of plans.
For a late lunch stop, we headed to Pigwich (where I have also been once before) and ordered an amazing falafel sandwich and chips. The Local Pig, which is the food truck's main shop (the butcher store), where we picked up a few pretzel rolls and my boyfriend bought some meat for his liking. Although I am not a meat eater, there was much to be seen and eat here, like the flavored honeys and pickled veggies. I've also been on the lookout for 110 film, if anyone knows the best deals and online places to purchase this, please help a lady out! I can't wait to get my hands on some.
Thank you for stopping by Style By Cecily! Love your blog!

ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! I think you can buy some pretty decent 110 film on ebay - I just saw a lot of 20 up for bid (this morning it was at $41 though). It doesn't look like it's very cheap, which is sad :( Good luck with your hunt for it though!

I love that you went to Pigwich/Local Pig. I've been wanting to try that place FOREVER but it seems so far away with me being in OP and everything. I had no idea they had vegetarian items? Another reason I've been staying away is because I'm not a big red meat person. I really need to go there though. No excuse! ;)
