in tall buildings

(dress: jcp, tote: Two Tickets, everything else is either vintage or thrifted)

This is the last official day of the summer season. I usually say "it's crazy how fast time passes by", but I honesty felt this summer was here for an extended amount of time. So many eventful experiences happened this past season; moving into our new apartment, finally sticking to a college to complete at, completing tests for school, exploring so many new places... it has been a hectic, but good season overall.
Today was an adventurous, but studious day for me. The morning I was completing an education major test, then the afternoon I was out and about the town. Going to Re-Run's Vintage Warehouse and Lucky Dog Vintage, exploring new parts of the West Bottoms, sipping on homemade soda at Little Freshie in the Westside, and browsing through the Utilitarian Workshop makes for a filled mid-day into nightfall adventure. I'd call that well-done weekend day.

  13. First, your outfit is absolutely adorable, I love it!! And isn't thrift- and antique-shopping just the best? I got most of my fall wardrobe (read: tons of sweaters!) at the local thrift store this year, it was fantastic. :) And I just love browsing vintage and antique knick knacks, so much history...but you already know that based on my vintage used postcards post, haha. ;)

It sounds like you had not only a fabulous weekend, but a lovely--if busy--summer as well. :) Glad you enjoyed yourself, and I hope your autumn is just as wonderful!

  15. really cool photos! I love that first one and especially the one of the books!! Oh I would love to have that framed somewhere. Also I'm amazed you got that much done after taking such a big test! I was usually brain-dead or too lazy to do anything after a test like that. But I guess you have to make the most of a weekend day!!
