sign of a gypsy queen

(See the rest of the collection, here.)

Although I feel as if I'm turning my little space into more of a photography based posting as of recently, I had to share these photographs I took of Courtnie Marie Ross earlier last week. Courtnie has been a life-long friend, passion-driven beyond words, and turned her focus greatly to modeling (of which she also does make-up and hair styling). I couldn't be more excited to be working with someone I've known since Elementary school days, and collaborating with both of our talents.
I was completely inspired by Courtnie's long, "gypsy-esque" robe she brought along when we wandered about Midtown for some photo moments. The bohemian life and style has always interested me, and I love seeing any pieces that reflect that. I always think of modern influences like Kate Moss or Sienna Miller who were the ones who first drew me into this style back in early high school. Times like this make me feel that I have such a diverse personal taste in style... but I suppose that is what photography is an outlet for.
