mini-shoot/sunday smile
these are a few photographs from a causal photoshoot i did with sami from sami dowd photography. i decided to play a little "dress-up", after watching clueless, so this outfit was very inspired by that film. check out her facebook page here!
sundays always seem to go by so quickly for me. after i got off work today, which i baked the yummiest fruit seed bars and squeezed so many lemons for lemonade, my boyfriend had planned a date night for us this evening. we originally were going to get dinner at one of our local favorites and go see a horror film at amc, but we decided head to cosentino's market and make a meal at home.
cosentino's is a gaint grocery store in the downtown district and is known for the bakery department and the deli/salad bar. there is not many items for grocery needs here, but it is nice because it is so close and a good place to grab lunch. we ended up make falafel sandwiches and hummus for dinner. it was such a wonderful meal (and i have leftovers for tomorrow!) and staying indoors to watch a horror film on netflixs. what a great way to end the weekend.

You have such a lively style! I love the pictures from the photoshoot, your friend has a talent. The dinner looks great, homecooking is always better than getting it out.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous pictures and you look so lovely in them! I adore the mix of the tweed and the plaid in the first look. I hope you and your boyfriend had a lovely time cooking! It's always fun making a meal together instead of eating out. :)
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit, the double plaid is really cute and those tights are amazing! They make such a statement :) and Clueless is such a funny movie!

Love that your first outfit is clueless inspired, thats amazing- especially since I am a huge fan of plaid! Though I am not the best cook, sometimes just picking up some things to have a date night making a meal in is seriously the best! Happy Monday!
