i love my city, for the main reason that i can still discover new places within it. i went to the antique store in the rivermarket today, which ended up coming out empty-handed! then, i went to the columbus park neighborhood and it was so beautiful. the oldest neighborhood in kansas city and full of breathe-taking fall views and victorian houses, columbus park is a neighborhood i want to be my next home! while i was exploring, i did not seem to find any coffee shops or many restaurants here.. i do not think i could live somewhere without walking distance of a soy latte! the area is probably far more expensive than a collage student and her boyfriend could afford though!
i dressed a little more bohemian than usual today. my friend let me go through her an assortment of her clothing yesterday (the cat featured above is hers, i had to snap a photograph of her in the pumpkin bandanna ) and since today felt so wonderful outside.. i decided to wear the wrap she gave me as a skirt. it was extremely comfortable and made me feel as if it was summer time, while heading to the beach. maybe a little off-season? yes, but i always want to feel comfortable!
readers, what are items of clothing you'll wear all year round?
