oh my, valentine

(Valentine's Day cards this year so far.)

(unhappy kitties make a silly picture. happy Valentine's Day from us!)

(sweater coat: thrifted, cardigan: mom's closet, sweater dress: thrifted, belt: give n' get, tights: h&m, pin: thrifted, loafers: thrifted, rose ring: red velvet shop.)

Happy St. Valentine's Day everyone! I just love this holiday... celebrating happiness and love with candy hearts and flowers. I honestly could not have designed a better day myself. I do not just view this day for couples only, more of an excuse to give cards and homemade sweets to people surrounding you. The people whom despises this holiday only do so because they view it has such, which it has become much more. Or do I possibly love this day because I can wear layers of pink and many heart pieces?! Nope, that's just an everyday thing!
For my evening plans, my "self proclaimed chef as I say" boyfriend is cooking us a lovely meal and providing some sweet white wine. We never plan ahead for holiday evenings, so going out for dinner would seem to be difficult on this holiday.  I am growing accustom to evenings in for dinner, which I feel makes everything that much more personal and cozy. Ending this post on the note that dinner is served and I am delighted to spend the night with my Valentine.
Readers, how did you spend your Valentine's Day?

  3. I love theses photos! And those tights...swoon. Sounds like you have lovely evenings together. I spent my Vday eating cupcakes and sharing a glass of wine with my husband while reading the personalized novel he got me. I total agree the valentines is more than just a couples thing too! The card I gt from my grandmother brightened my day :)
