(my mom's first atempt at "applesauce brownies" to veganize them.)
(passing over the Missouri River Bridge.)
(me and my granny.)
(jacket/dress/beret: thrifted, tights: target, boots: from mom's closet.)
Yet another of those rainy filled days in Missouri, and how I feel the rain has already fulfilled its time here. I always feel like a slug whom doesn't what to leave its little home. Although, I did travel north of the Missouri River today for a family pre-Easter function at my Uncle's little piece of land. It was actually quite nice and different than my norms (many neighbors, loud noises, city lights). I rather enjoy the country, or at least a little drive outside of the city I call home currently, and it's very peaceful. Sometimes, I can't tell if I would prefer a solitude home on some land, or my normal dwelling in an urban area. Well, I suppose this is why traveling is good.
I was so excited when I saw this jacket hanging on a rack at City Thrift. It was honestly the best find I have found in months. The fit is prefect, the details. Of the bows suits me so well, and the colors are to die for. The jacket is 100 percent silk and made by Adrianna Papell . I am such a clothing nerd, whenever I thrift something I always look up the brand and read at least a little about it.
I just love the jacket so much!

I love your beret and jacket - how beautiful on you! And applesauce brownies - mm! I made banana/oatmeal/cranberry cookies the other day - you should try them out! You just use a banadna instead of any eggs or oil or anything!
ReplyDeleteHow cute are the colors in this outfit?! They're so reminiscent of fall and I Just love it. Fall's colors are the prettiest of any season in my opinion... Even at the start of spring, hehe! Your beret is just precious, and your tights are lovely, too!

ReplyDeleteI just have to comment on all of your posts that I'm behind on because you are such a DOLL! Seriously, look at you in that first photo. I swooned a bit when I saw your jacket. I love finds like that-that look amazing and are made of quality materials. This is one special piece :) I always look up the brands and such too! It fascinates me to know when certain pieces were made.
