mini trip: columbia, missouri part 1

(afternoon at Main Squeeze, a natural foods cafe.)

(admiring wigs at Maude Vintage.)

(dress envy at Absolute Vintage.)

I said hello to Columbia,  Missouri this summer weekend. One of my best friends resides there now for her college days, and I owed her a visit.. and leaving town for a short while sounded nice as well. I love the short trips I take; stop a many times as you please on the way, never spending too much money, and always semi-knowing where you are going (which can also be a good thing not to, but sometimes it is nice).

The downtown area in Columbia is so full of little vintage stores, local eateries, and costume shops that I ended up wanting to spend most of one day there exploring... and quite the "college" nightlife. If you live close enough for a couple hour drive, I would suggest a day trip should be in order.
(Part two of my photographs from my mini-trip will be posted shortly.)
